Regarding electrical inspections, the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) says that “with the exception of the specific timeframes outlined in the regulations made under the Dangerous Substances Act, the legislation (Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations) doesn’t prescribe time periods between full electrical inspection and testing.”
However, we advise that commercial inspections should take place every three years, while industrial inspections should take place every five years.
